Bickerstaffe Lodge is a very special nursery and early years development centre.

Tucked away next to the village primary school, we offer high quality, personalised early years care and education for children between six months to school age.  Many of our children then go on to a wonderful primary education in the school next door, itself rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted for its Foundation stage provision.

Excellence infuses everything we do. We invest heavily in staff training and development, and have close links with Edge Hill University.  Our experienced, professional staff ensure that your child has the very best start in their educational journey.  Our enabling environment supports children in their learning and development embracing their unique learning style through positive relationships between parents/carers and the staff.

The nursery is a brand new purpose built facility, set in the beautiful countryside of Bickerstaffe between the towns of Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Rainford and Kirkby.  It is just two minutes from Junction 3 of the M58, and ideally located for Edge Hill University.  Ample car parking is available.
